The Benet Academy Redwings baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Niles Notre Dame Dons to 0 in the Redwings league win on Saturday.

The Redwings now hold a 18-9 record. They take the field next when they host Joliet Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic test on Monday, May 12. Benet Academy will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 11-0 league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 15-13.

With the defeat, Niles Notre Dame drops to 8-16 on the year. The Dons host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to play the Corsairs in a East Suburban Catholic test on Monday, May 12. The Corsairs go into the test with a record of 10-17. Carmel lost 11-0 in their recent league test against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL)
