Michigan High School Baseball - Byron Center defeats Saline

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI) and the host Saline Hornets (Saline, MI), saw Byron Center's baseball team gain a win over Saline by a tally of 7-1.

The Bulldogs (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Caledonia (Caledonia, MI). The Fighting Scots enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Caledonia was overwhelmed by Gull Lake (Richland, MI), 12-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hornets face the Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 12. Saline will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 4-19 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI).
