The Calumet Copper Kings baseball squad (Calumet, MI), 3-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Marquette Sentinels (Marquette, MI)

With the triumph, Marquette moves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Sentinels host Menominee (Menominee, MI) to confront the Maroons in a Great Northern U.P. contest on Monday, May 12. The Maroons come into the contest with a record of 1-7. Menominee lost 17-2 in their recent league contest against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI)
