In Saturday's non-league bout, the Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI), by a score of 9-2.
Next up, the Marauders encounter the Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) in a Downriver bout, on Monday, May 12. Carlson will attempt to advance on its 16-12 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 19-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Huron (Ann Arbor, MI).
The Pirates (7-20) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Railsplitters enter the non-league bout with a 9-20 record. In their last bout, Lincoln was overwhelmed by Franklin (Livonia, MI), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
