Maryland High School Baseball - Clear Spring nips Catoctin

The Clear Spring Blazers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Catoctin Cougars to 11 in the Blazers non-league win on Saturday.
The Blazers now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brunswick for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Clear Spring will clash with a Railroaders team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Railroaders record now stands at 13-5.
With the defeat, Catoctin drops to 7-13 on the year.
