The Dakota Cougars baseball squad (Macomb, MI), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI)
With the triumph, Western International moves its record to 18-6 on the season. The Cowboys travel to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) to confront the Knights in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 14. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 14-8.
The Cougars now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chippewa Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. Dakota will confront a Big Reds squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Fraser (Fraser, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 14-8.
