The Jefferson Bears baseball squad (Monroe, MI), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI)
With the triumph, Edsel Ford moves its record to 16-8 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI) to confront the Bears in a Downriver contest on Monday, May 12. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 10-11. Roosevelt won 5-2 in their recent league contest against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI)
The Bears now possess a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Airport for a Huron contest on Monday, May 12. Jefferson will confront a Jets squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Ida (Ida, MI). The Jets record now stands at 7-13.
