The Hammondsport Lakers (Hammondsport, NY) baseball trounced the visiting Mount Morris Blue Devils (Mount Morris, NY), 17-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Lakers now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arkport Central for a Section 5 Steuben County challenge on Monday, May 12. Hammondsport will clash with a Bluejays team coming off a 11-1 league win over Addison (Addison, NY). The Bluejays record now stands at 8-1.

With the defeat, Mount Morris drops to 1-10 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Avon (Avon, NY) to clash with the Braves in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. The Braves go into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Avon lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame Academy (Staten Island, NY)
