The University School Buccaneers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host North Greene Huskies to 1 in the Buccaneers league win on Saturday.
The Buccaneers now hold a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they host Greenback for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. University School will play a Cherokees team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Coalfield (Coalfield, TN). The Cherokees record now stands at 17-7.
With the defeat, North Greene drops to 14-13 on the year. The Huskies travel to Coalfield (Coalfield, TN) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. The Yellow Jackets go into the test with a record of 26-6. Coalfield won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Greenback (Greenback, TN)
