In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Wausau East Lumberjacks baseball team scored a close 12-6 win over the River Falls Wildcats.
The Lumberjacks (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI). The Hodags go into the non-league game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Rhinelander was overwhelmed by Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI), 2-1, in a league game.
Next, the Wildcats play the Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 16. River Falls will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Railroaders go into the game with a 11-8 record after their 8-4 league win over Somerset (Somerset, WI).
