The West Bloomfield Lakers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Walled Lake Western Warriors to 9 in the Lakers non-league win on Saturday.

The Lakers now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they host North Farmington for a Oakland - White test on Monday, May 12. West Bloomfield will play a Raiders team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Novi (Novi, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 8-19.

With the defeat, Walled Lake Western drops to 11-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI) to play the Cougars in a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, May 13. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 9-11.
