The Marmion Cadets edged the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cadets face the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - White game, on Tuesday, May 13. Marmion will attempt to advance on its 12-17 season record. The Meteors go into the game with a 8-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL).

The Warriors (11-15) will now prepare for their game against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats go into the DuPage Valley game with a 21-9 record. In their last game, Neuqua Valley nudged Naperville Central (Naperville, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
