The Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) baseball trounced the host Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL), 14-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 25-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morris for a challenge on Monday, May 12.
With the defeat, Crystal Lake Central drops to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers host Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to clash with the Whip-Purs in a challenge on Wednesday, May 14. The Whip-Purs go into the challenge with a record of 21-11. Hampshire won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Central (Burlington, IL)
