The Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) baseball got by the visiting South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chariho for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Westerly will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Central (Providence, RI). The Chargers record now stands at 7-1.
With the defeat, South Kingstown drops to 2-1 on the year. The Rebels travel to Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to clash with the Sentinels in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Sentinels go into the challenge with a record of 1-7.
