In Saturday's non-league match, the host Genesee Valley Jaguars softball team scored a nice 13-0 win over the Alfred-Almond Eagles.

The Jaguars (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Friendship (Friendship, NY). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Friendship was routed by Bolivar-Richburg (Bolivar, NY), 17-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Addison Knights (Addison, NY) in a Steuben County match, on Wednesday, May 14. Alfred-Almond will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 5-4 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour (Watkins Glen, NY).
