Michigan High School Softball - Anchor Bay tipped by Romeo

Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI), 7-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Romeo upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Dakota (Macomb, MI) to play the Cougars in a Macomb Area - Red game on Tuesday, May 13. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 15-4.

The Tars now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they travel to Chippewa Valley for a Macomb Area - Red game on Saturday, May 10. Anchor Bay will play a Big Reds squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 8-9.
