The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Augusta Beavers (Augusta, WI) and the visiting Hurley Northstars (Hurley, WI), observed Augusta's softball team get by Hurley by a tally of 14-7.

The Beavers (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Drummond (Drummond, WI). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Drummond was routed by Hurley (Hurley, WI), 6-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Northstars clash with the Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. Hurley will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Screaming Eagles go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Spencer (Spencer, WI).
