The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Canajoharie Cougars (Canajoharie, NY) and the visiting Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY), observed Canajoharie's softball team get by Middleburgh by a tally of 11-5.

The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY). The Hilltoppers go into the Section 2 Western - Northern bout with a 4-9 record.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Duanesburg Eagles (Delanson, NY) in a Section 2 Western - Southern bout, on Monday, May 12. Middleburgh will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY).
