In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lakeville South Cougars softball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Century Panthers.
The Cougars (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Panthers go into the South Suburban Conference match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Lakeville North was routed by Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN), 6-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 12. Century will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Cougars go into the match with a 6-7 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Century (Rochester, MN).
