The Oakfield-Alabama Hornets softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Elba Lancers to 0 in the Hornets league win on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pembroke for a Class DD battle on Monday, May 12. Oakfield-Alabama will confront a Dragons team coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Newfane (Newfane, NY). The Dragons record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Elba moves to 2-6 on the season. The Lancers travel to Byron-Bergen (Bergen, NY) to confront the Bees in a Class DD battle on Monday, May 12. The Bees come into the battle with a record of 4-11. Byron-Bergen lost 17-1 in their recent non-league battle against Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY)
