The Washington Panthers softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Galesburg Silver Streaks to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.

The Panthers now possess a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Illini Bluffs for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Washington will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Havana (Havana, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Galesburg moves to 0-29 on the season. The Silver streaks travel to Rochester (Rochester, IL) to confront the Rockets in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 18-3. Rochester won 11-4 in their recent non-league battle against Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL)
