In Saturday's non-league match, the host Grosse Pointe North Norsemen softball team scored a nice 16-1 win over the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders.
The Norsemen (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI). The Falcons come into the Macomb Area - Red match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, Utica Ford notched a victory over Dakota (Macomb, MI), 2-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Roseville Panthers (Roseville, MI) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 12. L'Anse Creuse North will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 0-12 record after their 19-3 non-league loss to Port Huron (Port Huron, MI).
