In Saturday's non-league test, the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Laurel Gators (Shaker Heights, OH), by a count of 18-6.
Next, the Dragons meet the Brush Arcs (Lyndhurst, OH) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 12. Lakeside will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record.
The Gators (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Crestwood toppled St. Martin de Porres (Cleveland, OH), 20-0, in a non-league match.
