Missouri High School Baseball - Kickapoo holds off Rock Bridge

In Sunday's non-league game, the visiting Kickapoo Chiefs baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Rock Bridge Bruins.
The Chiefs (20-9) will now prepare for their game against Central (Springfield, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-17 record. In their last game, Central was overwhelmed by Ava (Ava, MO), 11-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bruins play the Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) in a Class 6 District 5 game, on Tuesday, May 12. Rock Bridge will attempt to improve on its 24-12 season record. The Kewpies go into the game with a 18-11 record after their 12-5 league loss to Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO).
