Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), 21-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a 5A District 1 challenge on Wednesday, May 19. Rio Rancho will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Piedra Vista falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to battle the Storm in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 13. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 9-1. Cleveland lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM)
