Hornbeck Hornets (Hornbeck, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Simpson Broncos (Simpson, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hornbeck upgrades its record to 12-12 on the season. The Hornets travel to Hicks (Leesville, LA) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, May 13. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 22-7. Hicks won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Calvin (Calvin, LA)
