The Bangor Slaters baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Palisades Pirates to 6 in the Slaters non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Slaters (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA). The Green Knights go into the non-league match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Pen Argyl was overwhelmed by Lehighton (Lehighton, PA), 7-3, in a non-league match.
The Pirates (0-11) will now prepare for their match against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Rough Riders go into the non-league match with a 0-9 record. In their last match, Catasauqua was overwhelmed by Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA), 9-2, in a non-league match.
