The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) and the visiting Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), saw Chatham's soccer squad beat Nelson County by a count of 5-1.

The Cavaliers now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Altavista for a Dogwood test on Friday, May 13. Chatham will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Galileo (Danville, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 0-12.

With the loss, Nelson County drops to 6-5 on the season. The Governors host Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA) to meet the Raiders in a Dogwood test on Friday, May 13. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 11-1. Appomattox County won 3-0 in their recent league test against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)
