Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights confront the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a Valley challenge, on Friday, May 13. Turner Ashby will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Trailblazers enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).

The Indians now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Waynesboro for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16.
