West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bartlett for a Upstate Eight challenge on Thursday, May 12. West Chicago will face a Hawks squad coming off a 18-13 league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 13-11.

With the loss, Aurora East falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Elgin (Elgin, IL) to face the Maroons in a Upstate Eight challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 3-17. Elgin won 13-6 in their recent league challenge against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)
