Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 19-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Silver Creek for a Mount Hamilton challenge on Friday, May 13. Branham will face a Raiders squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Pioneer falls to 6-20 on the campaign.
