Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Northview Knights (Brazil, IN) and the visiting Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN), witnessed Northview's softball squad tip Brown County by a count of 11-5.

The Knights now sport a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Terre Haute South Vigo for a non-league match on Friday, May 13. Northview will face a Braves squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN). The Braves record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Brown County moves to 2-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, May 12. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 6-10. Bloomington North won 6-5 in their recent league match against Southport (Indianapolis, IN)
