Rhode Island High School Softball - Mt. Pleasant bounces Classical

The Mt. Pleasant Kilties routed the visiting Classical Purples softball squad by a final score of 15-8 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Kilties (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Central Falls (Central Falls, RI). The Warriors go into the Division 3 battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Central Falls was routed by Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI), 13-8, in a league battle.
The Purples now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a Division 3 battle on Monday, May 16. Classical will meet a Knights squad coming off a 20-8 league win over Block Island (New Shoreham, RI). The Knights record now stands at 11-1.
