Pennsylvania High School Softball - Ferndale bounces Conemaugh Township

May 11, 2022: Johnstown, PA 15905

Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Blacklick Valley for a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge on Thursday, May 12. Ferndale will face a Vikings squad coming off a 21-12 non-league win over Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Conemaugh Township falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Indians host North Star (Boswell, PA) to face the Cougars in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-12. North Star lost 16-3 in their recent league challenge against Ferndale (Johnstown, PA)
