Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) and the visiting Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), witnessed Dexter's softball squad tip Raton by a count of 12-5.
The Demons now sport a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Robertson for a non-league match on Thursday, May 12. Dexter will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 24-0 non-league win over Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 22-4.
With the loss, Raton moves to 6-21 on the season. The Tigers travel to Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to face the Rattlers in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 11. The Rattlers go into the match with a record of 13-10. Tucumcari won 17-1 in their recent non-league match against Logan (Logan, NM)
