Otsego Knights (Tontogany, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Eastwood Eagles (Pemberville, OH), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fostoria for a Northern Buckeye challenge on Monday, May 16. Otsego will battle a Redmen squad coming off a 18-8 league loss to Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Eastwood falls to 20-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Lake (Millbury, OH) to battle the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. The Flyers enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Lake lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Genoa Area (Genoa, OH)
