The St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) softball routed the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 7-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Fighting Saints (20-3) will now prepare for their bout against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The North Stars go into the DuKane bout with a 16-2 record. In their last game, St. Charles North nipped Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 9-7, in a league game.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) in a DuKane game, on Thursday, May 12. Geneva will attempt to move on its 1-20 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 4-16 record after their 13-2 league loss to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL).
