Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Royals now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wyoming Area for a Wyoming Valley 4 challenge on Friday, May 13. Holy Redeemer will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 11-6 league loss to Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Greater Nanticoke Area falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Dallas (Dallas, PA) to battle the Mountaineers in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 6-8. Dallas lost 8-3 in their recent league challenge against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA)
