Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) and the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), witnessed Harlem's softball squad prevail over Jefferson by a count of 11-1.

The Huskies now sport a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Rockford East for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 match on Thursday, May 12. Harlem will face a E-Rabs squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Belvidere (Belvidere, IL). The E-Rabs record now stands at 1-20.

With the loss, Jefferson moves to 4-11 on the season. The J-hawks travel to Freeport (Freeport, IL) to face the Pretzels in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 match on Friday, May 13. The Pretzels go into the match with a record of 14-10. Freeport won 7-0 in their recent league match against Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL)
