Tallassee Tigers (Tallassee, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Holtville Bulldogs (Deatsville, AL), 14-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 21-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elmore County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Tallassee will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 36-12.
With the loss, Holtville falls to 19-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL) to battle the Volunteers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Volunteers enter the challenge with a record of 12-12. Central of Clay County won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL)
