The Ledyard Colonels routed the host Killingly Redmen softball squad by a final score of 19-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Colonels (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the non-league battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Bacon Academy was routed by Griswold (Griswold, CT), 11-4, in a non-league battle.
The Redmen now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Woodstock Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Medium battle on Thursday, May 12. Killingly will confront a Centaurs squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 8-8.
