Lakota Raiders (Kansas, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH), 10-9 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Margaretta for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. Lakota will battle a Polar Bears squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Edison (Milan, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 21-3.

With the loss, New Riegel falls to 15-10 on the campaign. The Blue jackets host Arcadia (Arcadia, OH) to battle the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 13-11. Arcadia lost 13-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Carey (Carey, OH)
