In Wednesday's league contest, the Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors (Sudbury, MA), by a margin of 13-3.

With the triumph, Westford Academy moves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Grey Ghosts host Wayland (Wayland, MA) to play the Warriors in a non-league contest on Friday, May 13. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 5-8. Wayland lost 13-1 in their recent non-league contest against Newton South (Newton, MA)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Bedford Buccaneers (Bedford, MA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 12. Lincoln-Sudbury will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record.
