The Ridgefield Spudders (Ridgefield, WA) softball routed the visiting Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA), 16-2 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Spudders (16-0) will now prepare for their bout against Columbia River (Vancouver, WA). The Rapids go into the 2A Greater St. Helens bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Columbia River beat Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA), 16-3, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Mark Morris falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Monarchs host R.A. Long (Longview, WA) to battle the Lumberjacks in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Friday, May 13. The Lumberjacks enter the challenge with a record of 9-4. R.A. Long won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA)
