The Mira Mesa Marauders softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Point Loma Pointers to 1 in the Marauders league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Mira Mesa improves its record to 5-20 on the year. The Marauders travel to Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Rattlers in a City Eastern game on Friday, May 13. The Rattlers come into the game with a record of 13-12. Canyon Hills lost 9-8 in their recent league game against Clairemont (San Diego, CA)

In their next game, the Pointers clash with the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots (San Diego, CA) in a City Eastern game, on Friday, May 13. Point Loma will attempt to improve on its 7-20 season record. The Pilots come into the game with a 15-9 record after their 5-2 league loss to Clairemont (San Diego, CA).
