The Monroeville Eagles softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting St. Paul Flyers to 5 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Monroeville moves its record to 19-5 on the year. The Eagles host New London (New London, OH) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, May 12. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 5-5. New London lost 2-0 in their recent league game against South Central (Greenwich, OH)

In their next game, the Flyers clash with the Plymouth Big Red (Plymouth, OH) in a Firelands game, on Friday, May 13. St. Paul will attempt to move on its 3-18 season record. The Big Red come into the game with a 5-7 record after their 6-2 league win over Crestview (Ashland, OH).
