Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wyomissing for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Tri-Valley will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Nativity BVM falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Green wave host Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 5-11. Allentown Central Catholic won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA)
