St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Portland Christian Royals (Portland, OR), 20-9 in a league challenge.
The Buckaroos now own a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nestucca for a 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 challenge on Thursday, May 12.
With the loss, Portland Christian falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Perrydale (Amity, OR) to battle the Pirates in a 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 challenge on Friday, May 13. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
