Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Washougal Panthers (Washougal, WA), 16-3 in a league challenge.

The Beavers now sport a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Hockinson for a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Friday, May 13. Woodland will face a Hawks squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to R.A. Long (Longview, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Washougal falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA) to face the Eagles in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Friday, May 13. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-10. Hudson's Bay won 8-1 in their recent non-league challenge against La Center (La Center, WA)
