Virginia High School Baseball - Dinwiddie defeats Hopewell

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) and the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA), saw Dinwiddie's baseball squad knock off Hopewell by a count of 10-4.

Coming up next, the Generals play the Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA) in a Central battle, on Monday, May 15. Dinwiddie will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Monarchs enter the battle with a 5-14 record after their 10-2 league loss to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA).

The Blue Devils now possess a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host Matoaca for a Central match on Tuesday, May 16. Hopewell will confront a Warriors team coming off a 11-1 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-3.
